Play – Open Door

Play - Open Door

Activities for Children

As well as offering support and advocacy to Barnet parents and carers and their children under 5 with any special or additional needs, we offer activities for children. Open Door offers a warm welcome, a snack for the children and a chance to meet other parents in a relaxed and informal setting. There are plenty of things for the children to do! We also have a schedule of activities for children aged 11-18

Our Drop-in Centre

Holiday Play sessions
During the school holidays we will hold some family fun days and other activities for children under 5s and their siblings such as soft play sessions or day trips to Belmont Farm. These activities are funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

11-18 year olds activities
This is funded by the Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative in conjunction with Groundwork London. Sessions held during the school holidays for 11-18 year olds with learning disabilities and/or autism covering a range of interests.

Activities include kayaking, sailing, trampolining, museum visits and theme parks.

In 2019 we have a range of activities for 11-18 year olds, including K-Pop dance workshops, martial arts, circus skills and art and craft sessions. To view the flyer for May - July, please click here.
