Make a difference

Your donations make a big difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities in Barnet and their families. We are in constant need of funds so we can continue our support and by donating even a small amount of money you can really help us to help others!

How your donations help Barnet Mencap?

What could £100 do?
It could help 15 families to access a soft play session, providing a safe environment for children with additional needs and their siblings to have fun. It could help an adult with learning disabilities to access a day activity such as seaside trip whilst being supported by our team of experienced workers.

What could £50 do?
It could pay for a two-hour support workshop, such as an afternoon tea for up to 18 adults with a learning disability or autism.

What could £10 do?
It could pay for one hour of support for a person with a learning disability or autism.

What could £5 do?
It could pay for a child with additional needs to access a performance at Chickenshed theatre, giving them an opportunity to enjoy a new experience with their family.

Online
You can now give directly to Barnet Mencap through CAF Donate. Giving in this way reduces our administration fees and collects gift aid automatically. Click on our Donate Now button above to give today.

By post
You can send a cheque to Barnet Mencap, 35 Hendon Lane, Finchley, N3 1RT. Please make cheques payable to ‘Barnet Mencap” Please let us know how you raised the money and don’t forget to include a Gift Aid Form if you are a UK tax payer.

In person
Drop in to our office at 35 Hendon Lane, Finchley, N3 1RT, where we can take card or cash payments.

Gift aid
Don’t forget that if you are a UK tax payer, using Gift aid means that for every pound you give, we can reclaim an extra 25p, helping your donation go further – and it won’t cost you a penny.
In order for Barnet Mencap to claim Gift Aid on your donations, you will need to download and complete a Gift Aid Declaration form.
