Fit2gether
The Fit2gether project gives you lots of chances to try new sports and physical activities whilst having fun and making friends. It is very important for us to do some physical activity each week as this keeps us fit and healthy and can boost our mood. All activities can be done at your own pace!
Activities are rotated throughout the year depending on the season and instructor availability. Activities have recently included Zumba, Martial Arts, Yoga, Football, Sailing, Golf, Badminton and Swimming Sessions.

Dance and Drama
We run weekly dance and drama sessions with Fixation Academy during term time at Finchley Youth Centre and the Bull Theatre. Contact us for more information!
Over 50s
This group is for people aged 50 and over. We have a regular Art Group that has produced artwork which has been displayed at exhibitions, won awards and made into greetings cards.
We also host a monthly supper club where the members get to socialise with friends, have a meal and take part in games.
How do I join?
If you would like more details or would like to join email Project Support on projectsupport@barnetmencap.org.uk or call 020 8349 3842.
They will arrange for one of the COPs team to meet with you and talk about Springboard and/or Fit2gether. You can choose to join one or both programmes.
If you decide you would like to join, you can take (or send) the completed application form and the payment to the office. Details of activities will then be sent to you every month.
There is a membership fee to pay (which decreases over the course of the year) and your membership would need to be renewed every year. Please note that as well as free activities, some of our activities do incur a small cost. This amount depends on the activity and is separate from the membership fee.
Social Support
A 1:1 worker can support you or your family member to activities of your choice such as cinema trips, theatre visits and spa stays. An hourly fee applies, please contact Project Support on projectsupport@barnetmencap.org.uk or call 020 8349 3842 for more information.
