Fresh off the success of the London to Brighton bike ride, there’s another challenge event coming up which will help raise money for Barnet Mencap!
Kate Gordon, one of the staff in our Equality Housing project, will be taking on the hugely exciting challenge of running a half marathon at the Royal Parks of London on Sunday 9th October!
The Equality Housing project is a supported housing project for people with learning disabilities. We aim to give people a chance to successfully live independently in the community by providing them with the skills they will need. This could be for people living in one of our 3 shared houses, their own flat or in their family home.
The Royal Parks Half is a half marathon (13.1 mile) course across four of London’s beautiful Royal parks – Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
You can support Kate now by heading to her JustGiving page here.
If you can’t support Kate and Barnet Mencap by making a donation, just sharing her page is also really helpful!
