Volunteering

Volunteering

Donating a couple of hours as a volunteer can make all the difference

We are always looking for volunteers and always have lots of opportunities on our community-based leisure activities, in our office, working with Children's Services and other activities.

Why volunteer?
We are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and are looking for people with the same passion who want to make a difference to the peoples’ lives they are supporting.

Whatever skills, ideas and abilities you have, we want them. We can help you put them to good use. In return, we will provide you with a friendly environment where you can build and develop new skills, gain experience and make new friends.

“Volunteering at Barnet Mencap is so fun. You get to meet lots of different people and all the friendly staff.”
“Volunteering at Barnet Mencap is really good. It’s given me the opportunity to learn how to work as a team and to make new friends”
