What is Easy Read?
People with a learning disability are often left out of important communications or are not provided information in more accessible formats. We aim to improve information accessibility by producing customised easyread information, for the community and for private entities.
Easy Read is a way of presenting information so it is easier to understand.
It uses:
- Simple words and short sentences
- Clear headings and lists
- Pictures or symbols to explain important points
