You can now give directly to Barnet Mencap through this website! We are in constant need of funds so that we can continue to support people with learning disabilities and their families. By donating even a small amount of money you can really help us to help others! Click on the Donate button below to be taken to our 'Just Giving' donations area.
Fundraising
Taking part in activities, such as swimming and running, is a great way of raising money.That's why we've also set up a fundraising account with 'Just Giving', which enables our supporters (i.e. people like you) to set up their own fundraising page for Barnet Mencap from which they can advertise the event that they are taking part in, and get people to sponsor them for it. It's very easy to do and completely free!

A big thank you to all our funders, fundraisers and donors
Raising sufficient funds for all our existing services is, as ever, a difficult and time-consuming task. Most of our income is public money in the form of grants from various bodies, service level agreements etc. Most grants are time limited, generally only for 1 to 3 years. This leads to great concern and worry as to how and where we can find continued funding to carry on providing our services and retain much valued staff.
We are most grateful to our many donors whose generosity helps to ease our many shortfalls. If you have not already done so, we ask you to consider Gift Aid. If you pay tax, Barnet Mencap can claim 23p for every £1 you give. We can supply you with the form or you can print it off from this website.
